03Aug Essential Firefox Extensions
I’ve been using Firefox for quite a few years now (since version 1) and I’ve had a fair share of different themes and add-ons for it.
Adblock Plus
Sick of those adverts all over your favourite websites, its simple, install Adblock Plus. Just right click the image and select Adblock Image, it disappears! You can also block flash banners and use ready made filters with hundreds of blocked adverts.
NoScript
NoScript is an extremely useful tool that can also help to prevent ad servers. It can prevent active content such as cross-site scripting attacks (XSS) that could expoit security vunerabilities and harm your computer. With this you can choose to allow or block each or every active script on a site to your liking.
Firebug
Only really essential for web developers like myself, this add-on allows the editing, debuging and monitoring of CSS, HTML and Javascript (the most popular languages)
If you havent tried Firefox, get it! It wont disappoint!

As much as I love AdBlock Plus myself, I cry when I see someone using it to view my websites.
Firebug can also be extended to support PHP, if I recall correctly.
I hope that won’t mind if I steal this top extensions idea from you for an article of my own?

yes, it can also support PHP and a few other languages but thought I would just state the main supported languages. And yes, feel free to steal the article idea, I did the same off one of my friends blogs! hehe
